Day 17

These are the hands that are big enough to help me now. They help set the table, put away laundry, fetch towys/diapers/tossed sippy cups for her sister. These hands are now four years old and go to school. These hands prefer to have painted fingernails, any color will do but they prefer pink. These fingers love to tickle her sister and pet her dog. They have magically figured out how to button (who taught her that?). These fingers are longing to learn how to snap. These hands wait impatiently for the day they can help me cook ALL the time and put on make-up (eek!).

I love these hands and the little girl who possesses them.
